Multidisziplinärer Künstler mit dem Fokus auf Sprache und Visualisierung
Ich wurde 1980 in Berlin geboren und lebe heute in Basel. Als multidisziplinärer Künstler arbeite ich an der Schnittstelle von Sprache und Visualisierung. Meine Praxis kombiniert Mixed Media, Aerosol Art, Illustration und Fotografie.
Auf Papier und Leinwand verbinde ich Sprühdose und Airbrush mit zeichnerischen Techniken. Ergänzend entstehen Objekte und dreidimensionale Arbeiten im 3D-Druck; punktuell nutze ich auch Siebdruck.
Im Zentrum meiner Arbeit steht die Verbindung von Sprache und Bild. Ich verändere Redewendungen und arbeite mit Wortspielen und sprachlichen Fragmenten. So mache ich sichtbar, wie Sprache Bedeutungen erzeugt und Wirklichkeit mitprägt. Dabei verbinden sich humorvolle Elemente mit gesellschaftlicher Reflexion.
Diese Arbeiten verstehe ich als fortlaufende künstlerische Forschung darüber, wie Sprache unsere Wahrnehmung formt und neue Perspektiven eröffnet.
Meine künstlerische Laufbahn begann autodidaktisch, bevor ich Ausbildungen als Gärtner und Koch absolvierte. Seit 1999 nehme ich an Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen teil. Seit 2025 bin ich im Living Museum Basel tätig, wo ich meine künstlerische Praxis weiterentwickle.
Multidisciplinary Artist with a Focus on Language and Visualization
I was born in Berlin in 1980 and now live in Basel. As a multidisciplinary artist, I work at the intersection of language and visualization. My practice brings together mixed media, aerosol art, illustration, and photography.
On paper and canvas, I combine spray paint and airbrush with drawing techniques. I also create objects and three-dimensional works using 3D printing, and occasionally work with screen printing.
At the heart of my work is the connection between language and image. I alter idioms and work with wordplay and linguistic fragments. In doing so, I reveal how language creates meaning and helps shape reality. Humorous elements are combined with social reflection.
I see these works as an ongoing artistic inquiry into how language shapes our perception and opens up new perspectives.
My artistic journey began as a self-taught artist before I trained as a gardener and chef. Since 1999, I have participated in solo and group exhibitions. Since 2025, I have been working at the Living Museum Basel, where I continue to develop my artistic practice.
