Tim Florian Müller – Multidisziplinärer Künstler mit dem Fokus auf Sprache und Visualisierung
Ich wurde 1980 in Berlin geboren und lebe heute in Basel. Meine künstlerische Praxis umfasst Mixed Media, Aerosol Art, Illustration und Fotografie.
Auf Papier und Leinwand arbeite ich unter anderem mit Airbrush-Techniken, ergänzt durch Zeichnungen, Siebdrucke sowie Objekte, die ich mittels 3D-Druck transformiere oder neu erschaffe.
Meine künstlerische Laufbahn begann autodidaktisch, bevor ich Ausbildungen als Gärtner und Koch absolvierte.
Im Zentrum meiner Arbeit steht die Verbindung von Sprache und Bild. Durch die Veränderung von Redewendungen und das Erfinden neuer Wortspiele entsteht Kunst, die zugleich humorvoll und gesellschaftskritisch ist. Jedes Werk ist Teil einer fortlaufenden künstlerischen Forschung – angetrieben von der Neugier, wie Sprache Realität formt und mit künstlerischem Gewicht neue Perspektiven eröffnet. Kunst wird so zum Spiegel und Begleiter des Denkens.
Seit 1999 nehme ich an Gruppen- und Einzelausstellungen teil und bin seit 2025 im Living Museum Basel tätig, wo ich mein Werk weiterentwickle.

I was born in Berlin in 1980 and currently live in Basel.
My artistic practice includes mixed media, aerosol art, illustration, and photography.
On paper and canvas, I work with airbrush techniques, complemented by drawings, screen prints, and objects that I transform or recreate through 3D printing.
My artistic journey began autodidactically before I trained as a gardener and chef.
At the core of my work lies the connection between language and image. By altering idioms and creating new wordplays, I produce art that is both humorous and socially critical. Each piece forms part of an ongoing artistic exploration driven by curiosity about how language shapes reality and opens new perspectives through artistic weight. In this way, art becomes a mirror and companion to thought.
Since 1999, I have participated in group and solo exhibitions. Since 2025, I have been part of the Living Museum Basel, where I continue to evolve my practice.
